At Fat Toads Farm Pantry, our mission is simple: to support Montana farmers and grow a strong local food system. When you shop here, you’re buying fresh, high-quality food directly from local farms—and helping the community and the environment at the same time.

Each purchase helps farmers earn a fair living, reduces environmental impact, and strengthens food security in our community. Fresh, local, and full of story, your groceries here aren’t just food—they’re a way to support your neighbors; protect the planet; and invest in a thriving, local food system.
In many stores, farmers see only a small portion of the value their products create. At Fat Toads Farm Pantry, we do things differently. Our consignment model gives farmers control over their prices and allows them to keep the majority of each sale. This ensures their work is fairly compensated and helps customers connect directly with the people who grow their food.
